Our commitment & approach

Through careful recruitment and well-established policies, we’re always reviewing and improving how we work – so we can deliver the highest quality care and the best possible outcomes for those we support.

Our approach to care

The training and support we provide to our team form the foundation for maintaining strong regulatory reporting and quality standards across our services.

Our management framework and on-site reporting structures are designed to align seamlessly with our overarching quality assurance system. Each home has a dedicated Person in Charge (PIC), responsible for all regulatory reporting to HIQA. In addition to fulfilling formal submission requirements, the PIC completes a detailed internal quality assurance report each month, which is reviewed by our Clinical Governance Board.

The Clinical Governance Board evaluates these reports to identify opportunities for improvement, including potential updates to policies or procedures. Any changes are communicated through the PIC, who ensures their team is informed, supported, and compliant throughout the implementation process.

Choosing Your Home

Embrace owns all of its homes, giving us the flexibility to design warm, high-quality spaces tailored to the people we support. Each home is bright, welcoming, and family-oriented — a true place to belong.

Working With Families

Moving into a new home is exciting but can also feel overwhelming. We support families every step of the way - ensuring a smooth transition and continued involvement in each person’s care.

Community Engagement

We approach community engagement in two ways. As well as partaking in the local community through shopping, exercise and social activities, we will also seek ways that allow us to give back to those around us.

Our governance structure

At the heart of our Clinical Governance approach is a simple but vital principle: respond to incidents, understand their root causes, and implement changes to prevent recurrence.

We reinforce this mindset through clear communication and robust training, ensuring every team member understands their role in upholding quality and safety. This shared awareness enables early identification of improvement opportunities and supports our commitment to continuous learning and better outcomes.

Health, Information & Quality Authority (HIQA)

Our residential services are regulated by the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA), which conducts regular inspections to ensure high standards of care and accountability are maintained. HIQA plays a vital role in setting national benchmarks for quality in Ireland’s care sector.

All HIQA inspection reports for our services are publicly available online, offering full transparency. In addition to these external reviews, we carry out regular internal quality audits to proactively assess our performance and drive continuous improvement across all areas of service delivery.
